Starting from Moscow and ending in Hong Kong, my friend Emma and I traveled more than 8500 km by train. Along the way we met many interesting locals, had unexpected adventures, were stunned by the scenery and surprised by the food (in good and bad ways). We stopped in many random places, always in search of adventure. Here you'll find my daily journals of our journey along the Trans-Mongolian Railway.

Three weeks of living with nomads in the Gobi desert and helping out with daily tasks. Gathering cow dung, milking goats, moving the Ger (yurt) and making endless batches of dry yoghurt: we did it all.
Exploring China by train from Datong all the way down to Hong Kong. Sampling food, discovering local nightlife and taking in some stunning nature: China had more to offer than we ever imagined.
